COMMERCIAL ITEM DESCRIPTION
PAPER, COPYING, XEROGRAPHIC PROCESS (Watermark)
The General Services Administration, Office Supplies and Paper
Products Commodity Center, New York, N.Y., has authorized the use
of this Commercial Item Description.
1. Scope and Classification. This description covers recycled white copy paper, cut grain long, containing a watermark.
2. Salient characteristics.
2.1 Requirements. Paper shall meet all requirements of JCP O-65, except that the recycled content requirement shall be a minimum of 20% postconsumer materials, as specified in Paragraph 3.
2.2 Watermark. The watermark shall be clearly legible and may be achieved by means of a dandy roll or other commercially acceptable means.
2.3 Dimensions. Shall be as specified (See paragraph 7).
2.4 Brightness. Shall be 85% minimum, per Tappi T 452.
