COMMERCIAL ITEM DESCRIPTION
PAPER, COPYING, XEROGRAPHIC PROCESSES
(Dual Purpose; White and Colors)
The General Services Administration has authorized the use of this commercial item description, for all Federal Agencies.
1. Scope. This Commercial Item Description covers paper suitable for all dry toner copiers, including high speed copiers, and laser printers.
2. Salient Characteristics. Paper shall conform to the Government Paper Specification Standard JCP O-65, except that the recycled content shall be 20% postconsumer materials, in accordance with Executive Order 12873 (see par. 3.1). In addition, the paper shall conform to all the requirements of this specification, and perform and print satisfactorily in high speed dry toner plain paper copiers, xerographic equipment and laser printers.
