Carbon paper used for classes 2 and 4 multi-copy teletypewriter rolls shall be black and shall produce clear, legible copies on each ply of the multi-copy set specified. The carbon paper shall not bleed, offset nor transfer.
4.1 bleaching. To obtain an acceptable brightness, in accordance with the performance standards of this document, a chemical bleaching process may be used. When specified in the ordering data (see Ordering Data), the bleaching process shall not include the use of chlorine, chlorine dioxide, or other chlorine compound. The Government reserves the right to require proof of such conformance prior to first delivery and thereafter as may be otherwise provided for under the provisions of the contract.
5. Quality Assurance.
5.1 Certification. The contractor shall certify and maintain substantiating evidence that the product offered meets the salient characteristics of this Commercial Item Description, and that the product conforms to the producer’s own drawing, specifications, standards, and quality assurance practices. The Government reserves the right to require proof of such conformance prior to first delivery and hereafter as may be otherwise provided for under the provisions of the contract.
