4.2 Sampling shall be in accordance with MIL-STD-105 using the plans as specified in Table 2, unless stated otherwise. The sample unit for visual and dimensional examinations shall be one roll unless stated otherwise. The sample unit for preparation for delivery shall be one completed shipping container.

TAPPI TESTS – shall be in accordance with TAPPI T400 for the
applicable TAPPI test methods.
5. Regulatory requirements. The contractor shall certify that the
product shall contain the minimum of 50% waste paper. The contractor shall also
certify that the product offered shall include a minimum of 10% postconsumer
recovered material. The postconsumer recovered material shall be considered as
part of the overall minimum total of 50% waste paper in accordance with 40 CFR,
Part 250. The Government reserves the right to require proof of such prior to
first delivery and thereafter as may be otherwise provided for under the
provisions of the contract.
5.1 Bleaching. To obtain an acceptable brightness, a chemical bleaching
process may be used. When specified, (see Section 10), the bleaching process
shall not include the use of chlorine, chlorine dioxide, or hypochlorite.
Certification of compliance shall be made available upon request by the
Government.
6. Warranty requirement. The contractor shall warrant that if, at any
time under normal use and periodic maintenance, their facsimile paper causes
abnormal wear to and/or damage the facsimile machine, the contractor shall
replace the defective facsimile paper and reimburse any charges for parts and
labor necessary to repair the facsimile machine upon receipt of evidence of
periodic maintenance and invoice/work order from the servicing company.
7. Preparation for Delivery. Packaging, packing, and marking of the
rolls shall be as specified in the contract or purchase order.
8. Reference Document. The reference documents in effect on the date of
the solicitation shall be used to determine compliance with the stated
requirements.
